2025 CURATE AWARDS OPEN FOR ENTRY WITH THE ADDITION OF NEW ZEALAND CATEGORIES

The CURATE Awards are back for 2025, bigger and better than ever! Following last year’s exciting inaugural launch, which sparked fresh enthusiasm across the industry, this unique competition continues to spotlight Australia’s most promising apprentice talent. Its success has now expanded beyond the mainland to New Zealand, fostering even more creative growth.

Brisbane hairdressing icon and AHIA Creative Australian Hairdresser of the Year 2023 Justin Pace created this ground-breaking platform to discover and celebrate our most talented urban and regional Apprentices through the delivery of exciting hair vision and creativity.

The goal is to reinvigorate a sustainable industry by attracting, inspiring, and retaining a new generation of driven and motivated hairdressers whilst elevating the perception of hairdressing as one of the most exciting career pathways.

For Salon Owners and Directors CURATE is a unique tool to motivate and guide Apprentices to enter the competitive arena for the first time and to shine a light on their salon.

For Apprentices CURATE presents an unprecedented opportunity to develop their profile within the industry, along with winning some pretty epic prizes. 

2025 prizes include a full-day photo shoot workshop with Justin, tickets to the AHIA Creative Awards gala, single-day pass to Hair Festival, coverage in HAIRBIZ magazine and across Mocha Hair digital platforms, a professional biography created in conjunction with Lily Blue Communications and prize packs and experiences courtesy of CURATE collaborators, who will be announced soon.
