12th December, 2022: An exclusive VIP event, held at The Crown, Sydney, hosted by Joico, gave 25 top partner salons a unique combination of a look and learn by the Global Artistic director Richard Mannah, a 5 star luncheon and the chance to mingle with some of Joico’s Australian and New Zealand ambassadors.
During a sumptuous lunch, guests were treated to 2x live model look and learns by the talented Richard Mannah with look 1 showing off how to work both colour and cut into a stunning bright pink feminine 90’s layered bob and look 2, a sandy blonde, popping face frame highlights with a blended root shadow.
Ambassadors in attendance were

- And new guest artist Josh Congreve, from Togninis in Brisbane
And to the delight of invited guests, the event culminated with Joico’s Duncan Richards hosting an informal Q&A session with Richard Mannah, revealing some of his top favs and tips.
Q – Your 2 favourite products?
A – Body Shape (for volume and texture) and Heat Hero (for the shine). These are my must haves for almost every look.
Q – Your favourite shoot?
A – My most favourite shoot was a few years ago. I had an idea inspired by Mexican day of the dead. The model was stunning and it was shot nice and clean. Chereine Waddell did the makeup which complemented the hair perfectly.
Q – Your most important advice?
A- Consultation is vital! I learnt from Toni&Guy that no matter how long you have had a client, consultation is necessary, because people change and their needs chance. Always listen! We have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason.
