Industry-renowned salon Sloans has marked its 25th anniversary by giving back to the community that has supported it from day one.
As a proud cornerstone of Lane Cove and national leader in hair fashion, Director and Owner Scott Sloan and the award-winning Sloans team launched a special initiative to honour this milestone with 25 complete hair transformations gifted to deserving local Mums via the North Shore Mums online community.
Scott was excited to welcome these beautiful women into the salon for some pampering:
“Our success over the past quarter century has only been possible because of the incredible support of our local community. This is my way of saying thank you. Lane Cove is more than just where we work, it’s home. With close to 1,000 entries received, giving these mums something special is the least we could do to celebrate such an amazing journey.”
As the current AHIA NSW/ACT Salon of the Year 2024, AHIA Creative Team of the Year 2023, and AHFA Salon of the Year 2023, Sloans continues to lead the way not only in hair artistry but also in meaningful community engagement. This initiative highlights the importance of salons at this level creating genuine, heartfelt activations that reconnect with the people who matter most. Sloans is deeply committed to making every client feel their best and this giveaway is a testament to that commitment.
Guests were treated to champagne, nibbles and sweet treats in the specially decorated space, as well as gift bags filled with products from L’Oreal Professional and Kerastase and the much anticipated gift voucher to return for their full VIP Hair Makeover. These transformations will begin in the coming weeks, with each winner booking in for a full bespoke makeover after meeting the acclaimed team of stylists and colourists.
Whilst Sloans is normally closed over the weekend, Kate Wrona, Senior Stylist, explained it was important for the team to step up for the initiative:
“Scott’s love for this community is contagious and being part of this special event alongside him meant a lot to us all. We wanted these mums to feel as amazing as they truly are and hair has the power to do that. I think we enjoyed it as much as they did!”
