Shepparton, VIC: ANO Cosmetics & Skin has raised $20,000 for Marian Community Specialist Family Violence Services through Vincent Care Victoria, following the clinic’s inaugural ANO Charity Gala held in Shepparton in May 2026.
Hosted at ANO Cosmetics & Skin, the event saw the clinic’s indoor space and outdoor gardens transformed into an intimate community gathering, bringing together local businesses, supporters, guests and community leaders in support of individuals, children and families experiencing family violence.
Funds were raised through the gala evening, raffle and auction initiatives, in-clinic fundraising, sponsor contributions and guest donations. Approximately half of the total was contributed directly by ANO Cosmetics & Skin and its founders personally, with the remaining funds raised through community-led initiatives organised and facilitated by the ANO team.
ANO also held an in-clinic fundraising day prior to the gala, with proceeds from selected skin treatments and skincare sales donated toward the fundraising total.
Founder and Director of ANO Cosmetics & Skin, Olivia Feldtmann, said the initiative was deeply personal and community-led.
“This was never about creating a glamorous event for the sake of it,” said Olivia. “It was about using the platform, and community ANO has built to give back in a meaningful and tangible way to an organisation supporting women and families within our own region.”
“As a clinic that has welcomed thousands of predominantly female patients since opening in 2020, we feel strongly that family violence is an issue that touches many people in our community, directly or indirectly. We wanted to do something practical, respectful and genuinely impactful.”
The evening included speeches from Mayor Shane Sali, Anna Tinsley, who shared her personal experience of domestic violence and resilience, and Marie Murfet alongside the Marian Community team, who attended the event and accepted the cheque presentation on behalf of the organisation.
“The cheque presentation was one of the most emotional moments of the evening,” Olivia said. “To stand with the Marian Community team and see so many people come together for such an important cause was incredibly moving.”
A number of local businesses and contributors helped bring the evening together, including Tables & Delights for styling and event planning, Lisa Nardella Photography, Percent Play Media, Bang Event Co, Bill & Beats, GV Signs, Candy Ng Art and Archibald The MC.
For ANO, the gala represents the beginning of a broader commitment to using its business platform to support meaningful community initiatives.
“We are incredibly grateful to every person and business who contributed,” Olivia said. “The result reflects the generosity of our community and the power of people coming together around something that truly matters.”
