Beauty Expo Australia Returns to Sydney for 2026

There’s something powerful about seeing the beauty industry come together under one roof. The conversations happening across the aisles. The live demonstrations drawing crowds. The clinic owners searching for fresh ideas. The beauty teams reconnecting with the wider industry. The moments where education, innovation and business all collide in real time.

This August, Beauty Expo Australia returns to ICC Sydney Darling Harbour across August 15 and 16, bringing together more than 6000 beauty professionals for two days dedicated to education, discovery and industry advancement. Recognised as Australia’s largest professional beauty event, Beauty Expo Australia continues to be one of the most significant gatherings on the industry calendar, attracting salon owners, clinic operators, dermal therapists, aesthetic professionals, makeup artists and beauty teams from across the country.

With over 200 brands showcased across skincare, aesthetics, wellness, grooming, machinery and business technology, the event offers beauty professionals the opportunity to explore the latest products, treatments, innovations and operational solutions all within one space.

Attendees can experience live product demonstrations, real-time conversations with industry experts, networking opportunities and first-look access to emerging trends and product launches shaping the industry right now. Featured machinery brands include Syneron Candela, BTL Aesthetics, Cutera, TADLI, The Global Beauty Group and Dermapenworld, while skincare brands including Murad, and Pelactiv will showcase professional solutions designed for modern salons and clinics.

The grooming and makeup category will also feature brands including Lycon, Guiya Minerals, Modelrock, Crown Brush and InClinic Cosmetics, alongside booking and management software providers including Phorest and Shortcuts.

The Beauty Discovery section will once again provide attendees with the opportunity to discover emerging brands entering the market, while several new product launches are expected to take place throughout the event.

Education at the Centre of the Conversation

While the expo floor delivers excitement and discovery, the education offering remains one of the strongest reasons beauty professionals continue to attend Beauty Expo Australia year after year. In an industry evolving rapidly across technology, AI, wellness and changing client expectations, staying educated has never been more important.

This year’s Australian Beauty & Aesthetics Conference features three dedicated education streams including Art of Aesthetics, Dermal Health & Wellness and Business of Beauty, with sessions designed to support beauty professionals at every stage of business and career.

The Business of Beauty stream focuses on practical strategies surrounding marketing, social media, AI integration, client experience, profitability and business growth, helping salon and clinic owners better navigate the realities of modern business.

Dermal Health & Wellness explores the growing connection between beauty, skin health and holistic wellbeing, with conversations surrounding longevity, hormones, skin changes through life stages and treatment recovery.

Meanwhile, Art of Aesthetics highlights advanced treatment innovation, biotechnology and emerging technologies shaping the future of aesthetic practice. Among the featured sessions this year is Profit-Boosting Aesthetics: Tech that Pays presented by Matt Williams from Professional Beauty Solutions, exploring how clinics can utilise technology to strengthen profitability and treatment outcomes.

Dr Shauna Watts from You By Dr Shauna Watts will present Midlife Hormonal Impact on Skin and Recovery from Treatments, addressing one of the industry’s most talked about conversations surrounding hormones and skin health. Dr Atefeh Najafi from Trulux will also present Rewriting the Science of Skin: Biotech Ingredients, PDRN, Exosomes and Peptides for Modern Clinics, diving into some of the advanced ingredient technologies currently reshaping professional skin treatment approaches. The conference program has been curated to reflect not only where the industry is today, but where it is heading next.

Exciting 2026 Update!

Beauty Expo Australia’s iconic Main Stage will move to the centre of the exhibition floor for 2026, creating greater visibility and accessibility for attendees across the two-day event. Open to all Expo Pass holders, the Main Stage will feature live demonstrations, expert presentations, product showcases and practical business insights throughout the weekend. For Event Director Nina Vidale, the event continues to play an important role in strengthening and connecting the professional beauty community.

“Beauty Expo Australia represents an incredible opportunity to bring the professional beauty community together in one dynamic space,” Nina said. “I’m genuinely excited about the level of innovation, creativity and talent that will be showcased across the show floor, from emerging brands to established leaders pushing the industry forward. “The expo is more than just a marketplace. It’s a platform for education, connection and growth.”

And perhaps that’s exactly why events like Beauty Expo Australia continue to matter. Because while the beauty industry continues to evolve, the desire to learn, connect and grow remains at the heart of it all. Beauty Expo Australia takes place at ICC Sydney Darling Harbour on August 15 and 16, 2026.

The Beauty Industry’s Comfort Problem.

Why playing it safe is holding clinics back! By Carly Knowles – Current ABIA Winner Best Team Training. The beauty and aesthetics industry is one of the most dynamic and fast evolving sectors we operate in, yet ironically, it is also one of the most risk averse. While technology, education, and client expectations continue to advance, many clinics remain firmly anchored in what feels familiar, comfortable, and safe. And that comfort, while understandable, is quietly holding the industry back. Comfort looks like stability, until it isn’t!! For many clinic owners, “playing it safe” means sticking with the same treatments, the same protocols, and the same messaging that worked five, ten or even more years ago. It means avoiding uncomfortable conversations with clients, steering clear of change, and hesitating to invest in education or leadership development. At first glance, this approach can look like stability. But over time, it often leads to

ProCell Therapies ANZ on Skin Regeneration

As the aesthetics industry continues shifting toward skin health, longevity, and regenerative treatment approaches, there is growing interest in technologies designed to support the skin rather than overstress it. But when Charles and Paula Krivaci first discovered ProCell Therapies in 2021, the concept was still relatively unfamiliar within the Australian market. At the time, they were operating their own clinic and searching for a treatment that would not only deliver visible results, but also offer something genuinely different from the traditional microneedling systems already dominating the industry. “We originally discovered ProCell as a clinic looking to expand our treatment range,” Charles explains. “What immediately stood out was the way ProCell penetrated the skin by stamping vertically to create clean uniform micro-channels instead of dragging or gliding across the skin like traditional microneedling. This approach supports precision, reduced downtime, and treatment consistency.” For Charles and Paula, however, it was the client
