The Big Barber Bash Sets a New Standard in 2026

Australian barbering has talent, hunger, and momentum — but too often, access to real education and opportunity sits out of reach. Major events are expensive, interstate, or overseas. TBBB’s vision is simple: take the best parts of global barbering events and bring them directly to the industry here. Not once a decade. Not in one city. But across the country, in spaces designed for energy, connection, and real exchange. Founded by Carmelo Francese of Inspire Brands, The Big Barber Bash exists to level up the craft, the culture, and the community of barbering across Australasia. It’s education without the gatekeeping.Competition without ego.Networking without pretence. Live demonstrations run alongside honest career conversations. Competitions put skill under pressure, in full view of peers and industry leaders. Emerging barbers work side-by-side with experienced professionals,

Men’s Hair Has Officially Entered a New Era By Jim Shaw In 2026, a good haircut alone isn’t enough, how you care for your hair matters just as much as how it looks. As grooming continues to evolve, more men are realising that updating their hair regime is about a routine that works with their lifestyle, hair type, and long-term hair health. From refreshing your cut to suit modern styles and face shape, to revamping your care routine with smarter washing and scalp care, today’s approach to men’s hair is more intentional than ever. JIM SHAW Updating your cut In 2026, updating your haircut is less about following extreme trends and more about choosing a style that looks natural, modern, and easy to maintain.
