Inside De Lorenzo’s AW2026 Collection

This season, De Lorenzo introduces Aurora Australis, the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection inspired by the movement, light and atmospheric beauty of the southern skies.

Drawing from Australia’s natural landscape at dusk where rich tones meet soft illumination, Aurora Australis celebrates modern individuality through wearable colour, effortless texture and refined seasonal styling. The collection marks the transition into cooler months with luminous finishes and subtle depth that enhance personal style with understated confidence.

Each look presents a unique interpretation of winter beauty, from radiant blondes enhanced by the soft light reflection of Nova360 colour, to rich brunettes enriched with warmth, movement and multidimensional shine. Crafted to support tone clarity, condition and seamless blending, Nova360 creates naturally reflective colour results that feel sophisticated, modern and effortlessly wearable throughout the season

Holly – Soft Volume & Modern Movement

To achieve Holly’s soft, modern movement, hair is first prepared with Instant Satur8 to restore hydration and softness, followed by Defence Extinguish to protect during heat styling.

Volume and texture are created through the lengths using Elements Sea Swell, before a full blow-dry builds body and natural lift.

The look is gently shaped and brushed into place, finishing with Elements Vapour Mist for flexible hold and luminous shine.

Catrine – Smooth Luxury Finish

Catrine’s sleek, polished finish begins with Prescriptive Solutions Moisture Repair Revive to nourish and smooth the hair, combined with Defence Extinguish for heat protection.

Hair is blow-dried straight to enhance natural flow before refining the shape for controlled movement. Elements Motion provides lasting control and structure, while Elements Sandstorm delivers a soft, refined finish with modern texture and shine.

Jules – Textured Edge

Jules’ look embraces modern texture and effortless edge. Hair is strengthened and conditioned with Instant Restructurant, then protected using Defence Extinguish prior to styling.

A volumising blow-dry supported by Elements Sea Swell creates body and movement, while shaping through the ends adds direction. The style is finished with Elements Grit, giving separation and lived-in texture for a contemporary finish.

Anna – Natural Polish

Anna’s timeless style focuses on enhancing natural beauty and shine.

Hair is moisturised and detangled using Essential Treatments Infinite, followed by Defence Extinguish for heat protection before blow-drying smooth.

Elements Densify is applied at the roots to build soft volume, creating movement while maintaining polish. The look is completed with Elements Vapour Mist, leaving hair smooth, touchable and effortlessly refined.

Salon Lane & French Beauty Academy Launch Scholarship for Emerging Beauty Entrepreneurs

Australia’s $7 billion hair and beauty industry is undergoing a structural shift, with more than 60% of professionals now operating as independent or sole operator businesses. As social media, personal branding and flexible work models lower barriers to entry, graduates are launching businesses earlier than ever, creating new opportunities, but also new challenges. While technical standards across beauty education remain high, industry data shows that business capability, not technical skill is the strongest predictor of long-term success. More than half of independent beauty businesses close within their first three years, most often due to gaps in pricing strategy, cashflow management and client retention. Fewer than one-third of graduates report feeling confident managing business fundamentals in their first year. Recognising this industry reality, Salon Lane has partnered with the French Beauty Academy to establish the Future Entrepreneur Scholarship, a program designed to support graduates not just into work, but into sustainable
