DeLorenzo's ASPYA conference celebrates 20 years in beautiful Phuket
ASPYA CONFERENCE is DeLorenzo’s business summit for owners and managers. This year was special with over 200 attendees which included 4 apprentices who were also lucky enough to come. The ASPYA conferences have been going for over 20 years and attendees have been all over the globe in some of the most beautiful locations. This year was no exception, with Phuket, Thailand playing host.
DAY ONE
ASPYA attendees were delighted to be staying in the luxury hotel, JW Marriot, hearing from Chris de Lorenzo, as he set up day explaining the reason for the conference and why they keep doing them after 20 years.
AHC CEO Sandy Chong spoke about Salon Culture – not from an AHC perspective, but as a salon owner of over 39 years.
Antony Whitaker gave incredible insights into the industry trends and key drivers for growth.
The fun continued at the NEON LIGHTS dinner, where there was a huge buffet, DJ, entertainment, plenty of drinks and everyone was dressed up in bright colours.
To make it even more special, the party was on the beautiful beach just in front of the hotel.
DAY TWO
Another PACKED day with DeLorenzo in Thailand.
Anthony de Lorenzo kicked it off by inducting 6 salons into the Delorenzo honour role – for those who had hit a milestone of 5 / 10 / 15 years with the business.
Guest speaker Amanda Stevens enlightened the room on the coming trends in customer services and how to elevate salon owners and stylists approach with useful take-home tips.
Chris Helder flipped the idea of “just be positive” and reframing any situation into “useful beliefs”.
It was the last night of conference, which meant it was Gala night – kicking off with Phuket’s bright and exciting Simon Caberet, SA State Rep Jo Hall as a guest singer and a local band bringing the good vibes all night.
This was nothing short of spectacular.
LOOK AND LEARN
The DeLorenzo guest artistic team Lisa Polini, Angela Soong, and Holly Breen took to the stage with a Look and Learn hosted by Megan Yabsley – showcasing the lasted 2024 Autumn / Winter collection and how they used the entire Nova 360 colour range.
