Entry open for 2024 Intercoiffure Australia Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T.) Apprentice Competition
This competition is designed to be a low-cost introduction into the creative competition world, where apprentices plan and carry out their transformation and then video it on their smart phone.
“All member and non-member apprentices are invited to video a ‘makeover transformation’ in the Open category which was a great success last year, so we are doing it again,” Intercoiffure’s National Artistic Director, Terrina Brown said.
The will open on Monday, 18 March when an example entry will be posted on Instagram @intercoiffureaustralia as a guide.
There are also two categories for Intercoiffure members only:
- First-year Styling (member salons)
- Second and Third-year Cut and Colour (member salons)
Entry videos must be shot in-salon during the entry period from Monday 18 March and Monday 29 April and be 30 – 60 seconds in duration. Music, speeding up and editing are permitted but no other special effects or text is allowed.
Entries must be by posting directly to Instagram by Monday 29 April, 11.59pm, using the hashtag of the relevant category and some other specified tags. The Open category must be hashtagged #Intercoiffureau_Open24. All hashtags and handles can be found on the rules.
L’Oreal Professionnel is once again generously providing education prizes in all categories.

Terrina said that prominent hairdressers from L’Oreal Professionnel Australia, Intercoiffure Guillaume Fondation Paris, Intercoiffure Mondial, Intercoiffure Oceania selected member and Australia and New Zealand Hairdressers of the Year would form the judging panel.
