EVO & GAUVIN FAMILY FOUNDATION SUPPORT WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY

Celebrating Down Syndrome Day

On Friday, March 21, Evo, supported by the Gauvin Family Foundation, proudly came together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting the community, Evo raised funds and participated in the LotsofSocks campaign in office, while hosting a pamper morning for 11 young adults with Down syndrome and their carers, helping them get gala-ready for the Foundation 21 Reunion Gala Ball.

With support from two of Adelaide’s leading hair salons, the Basin Haircutters and CONK Hair, Evo and the Gauvin Family Foundation donated their time and expertise to provide attendees with hair makeovers in preparation for the evening’s event.

Evo and the Gauvin Family Foundation organised the event to support a cause that is close to their hearts. Inspired by Michael Dann (Adelaide Warehouse Manager), whose grandson Remi was born in December with Down Syndrome and medical complications, the initiative was born from a desire to support families like Michael’s.

“As a family-owned business, we remain committed to raising awareness and funds for Down syndrome. This event is just one of the many ways we aim to foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and provide tangible support to our community.” Garth Gauvin, Gauvin Family Foundation

Evo and the Gauvin Family Foundation would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the salon partners Basin Haircutters and Christos on King for their generosity and support. They also thank their customers and staff who contributed to the success of the event.
