Hair Shots 2 The World Announces Their 2023 Cover Winners

Tsiknaris Hair and Beswick-English Tie for the Title

Each year Hair Shots 2 The World announces the collection earning the most covers in a calendar year, but for 2023, it’s not so simple with an enormous variety of clients and images published across 26 covers.

Instead, the 2023 Hair Shots 2 The World Covers of the Year Award goes to the hairdressers with the most covers across a number of collections.

Congratulations goes to both Tsiknaris Hair and the collaborative team of Bernadette Beswick and Stevie English who tied for the award securing three covers each.

“The award title has been changed in line with the biggest achievements of the year,” Hair Shots 2 The World chief, Leanne Cutler said.

“In most years, there can be one obvious cover choice for editors or a collection with six strong, suitable cover images that brings home the title, but not this time.

Runners up with two covers each are 2023 AHIA Australian Hairdresser of the Year Justin Pace of Co and Pace in Brisbane, Mikelah-Jayde Riley of Mikelah-Jayde Studio in Waikiki WA and Evie Golding of Rokstar Salon in Brisbane.

“It is brilliant to see both acclaimed and emerging hairdressing artist being selected for covers and in Evie Golding’s case, it was her first-ever collection,” Leanne said.

Leanne said that post-COVID Hair Shots 2 The World was back on track.

“Like a lot of businesses, things got a bit shaking during COVID with so much uncertainty around, but first-rate collections are arriving for release around Australia, New Zealand and overseas, which is a big relief,” she said.

“Barbers are starting to enjoy international publication too, learning how it can build their profiles, boost industry exposure and really rev up social media content for their clients.”

Everyone from Apprentices up are welcome to free feedback on collections from Hair Shots 2 The World. Please contact Leanne Cutler @hairshots2theworld or leanne@hairshots2theworld.com
