JOICO: Official Hair Partner of Breast Cancer Cure NZ’s Fashion for a Cure

For the past seven years, the talented team of hair stylists, led on most occasions by the incredible Felicity Bruce of Cocoon Hair Design and Dylan Quinn has brought ‘joi’ to the @breastcancercure Fashion for a Cure events across New Zealand, and the Tees for a Cure photo shoots, creating beautiful hair for the models, MC’s and Tees for a Cure talent. “It’s an absolute dream to be part of this amazing event! So grateful to Joico Australia & NZ for the opportunity”, says Felicity Bruce of Cocoon Hair Design.

Across the ditch, JOICO, officially partnered with Breast Cancer Cure NZ’s Fashion for a Cure series and is still abuzz following the recent flagship runway show at St James Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand.

“JOICO New Zealand is thrilled to support Breast Cancer Cure because their dedication to eradicating breast cancer through innovative research aligns with our commitment to fostering health and well-being in our community. Partnering with Breast Cancer Cure allows us to contribute to a cause that not only empowers women but also advances the scientific breakthroughs needed to save lives,” said Kylie McLeod, Marketing Director, Sabre Haircare. “Our talented team of hair stylists give their all at every event to make everyone involved feel special. Our partnership has evolved into a long-term one, making it very dear to our hearts.”

The talented JOICO hair team, directed by JOICO Guest Artist, Andrew Cobeldick, was tasked with creating a versatile hair look that complimented runway fashion from leading NZ designers, such as Juliette Hogan, Trelise Cooper, Hailwood, Knuefermann and more. With 24 models set to transcend the runway this was certainly no easy task.

The event hosted by NZ TV personality Petra Bagust raised an incredible $83,000 for Breast Cancer Research in New Zealand.
