L’ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL STYLE & COLOUR TROPHY 2024 FINALISTS REVEALED


The longest running hair competition in the world, Style & Colour Trophy, has announced its Australia & New Zealand top 8 finalists for 2024. This year, the competition invited hairstylists to create innovative hair looks in line with its theme: Utopia, encouraging freedom, harmony and self-expression that showcased the beauty of the new world.


In line with the evaluation criteria of perfect execution, creativity (cutting-edge, imagination, originality) and elevation, the following 8 finalists have been selected.

From here, the top 8 finalists will compete over 17 & 18 August to re-create their looks to be judged live by a panel of high-end experts, before the the 2024 Style & Colour Trophy AU/NZ winner will be crowned at the Style & Colour Trophy Awards Evening on the 19 August at Ceil Southbank.

Since 1909 and the creation of the first hair color by its founder Eugène Schuller, L’Oréal Professionnel has provided hairstylists with creative inspirations to elevate their artistry. In recent years, this has evolved to include the virtual world with avatar hair looks created by the brand to offer limitless self-expression. L’Oréal Professionnel launched 4 hair collections working hand-in-hand with Charlie Le Mindu, a global hairstylist and Evan Rochette, a CGI artist.
