MATRIX ALL STARS COMPETITION 2025
THE MATRIX ALL STAR WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED ON MONDAY 26TH MAY!
60 finalists across the Australian states and New Zealand came together on May 19th, all at the same time, to create their final colour and style on one model.
The brief was to create a look that stops you when you’re scrolling through an IG profile and shows the individuals personality.
The All-Stars competition is a Commercial/Social Trends competition, celebrating the hairdresser behind the chair and the hair they do every day in salon.
Judging is based on both hair colour, makeup, and before & after photo with entrants using Matrix color and styling products on their model.
Making sure the colour was on Trend, judges included:- Linda Woodhead the CEO and Founder of MochaGroup and proud owner of MochaHair Magazine and the AHIA’s. Rich Tran, the visionary Director and Founder of Ultra fade. Kelly Manu, an international award-winning stylist and owner of New Zealand’s Salon of the Year.
The 6 winners will be taken on a journey on how to capture the best photos as part of their prize and mentorship.

QUESTIONS ABOUT MATRIX ALL STARS?
All Entries must be submitted online via our ‘Enter Now’ section.
The competition is now open and will be accepting entries up until 31st March 2025.
Please note: any entries submitted after 31st March 2025 will not be accepted. Make sure to get your entries in now and don’t leave it to the last minute.
This year’s theme is Social Color Trends, inspired from the Matrix Color Menu.
All Material must be in color and in portrait orientation for. All Material are best featured on plain background. Photos must be submitted as a JPG file. Any photo submitted must be taken on a smart phone and photos must be a static image.
- No retouching or filters or photoshop allowed for the Material.
- Material that has been previously published (outside of this Promotion) will not be eligible.
- All Material must be in color and in portrait orientation for. All Material must feature a plain background. Photos must be submitted as a JPG file.
Entrants may enter multiple times provided each entry is submitted separately in accordance with the entry instructions above. Each entry submitted by an entrant must contain different Material (and feature a different model and Hair Color & Style). By completing the entry method, the entrant will receive one (1) entry.
No wefts, weaves, hair extensions or wigs are not allowed to be used.
Entrants must only use Matrix colour and styling products on the model/s and no other products.
