Salon Lane has just opened its second Brisbane location in exclusive Teneriffe, just six months after opening its first Brisbane site in West Village, in the heart of Brisbane’s West End.
Australia’s leading premium workspace provider for independent hair, beauty, and wellness entrepreneurs has extended its Brisbane footprint within the iconic Willoughby & Co Woolstores located at 130 Commercial Road, Teneriffe (also known locally as the “Nova building”). This character-filled gem has been reimagined to accommodate over 50 hair, beauty and wellness professionals all under one roof. The 830 square metre site consists of a concierge (front of house) and retail shop on ground level with an interconnected staircase to level 1, consisting of 22 private studios, 20 open workstations, nail lounge, colour bar, client lounge, coffee bar, member lounge, laundry, and a media content room.
Salon Lane Co-Founder and CEO, Jared Keen, said about their doubling down on the Brisbane market: “Salon Lane Teneriffe will be a hub of opportunities for independent freelancers who operate north of the river. Like Salon Lane West End, Teneriffe will be a space where creativity will flourish, connections forged, and dreams realised. It’s been a very busy and exciting journey so far… and we’re only getting started!”
The latest addition to the Salon Lane portfolio of shared workspaces opened on Tuesday, November 28 with both hair and beauty Foundation Members establishing their businesses at Salon Lane Teneriffe from the outset.
Blonde and Brunette expert and ex EdwardsAndCo freelancer Rhys Nahuysen says: “I initially joined Salon Lane in Sydney, travelling from Brisbane to work. I was so excited when I found out they were opening a location in Teneriffe! From the Concierge that greets my clients, to the modern fit out and facilities, and the large array of retail I can provide to my clients on their way out – I know that working from Salon Lane is a guarantee for me to provide the best possible experience to my clients.”
Accomplished entrepreneur and Tokyo Head Spa’s CEO, Ricky Rosen, comments about their brand’s expansion from Sydney to Brisbane:
”We have chosen Salon Lane Teneriffe as the location for our third salon and first in Queensland. Salon Lane provides our business with a unique platform for expansion. Their sites are magnificent and provide our clients with a unique and memorable experience from the time they walk through the front door.
Their team is unbelievable to work with, no ask is too big and our therapists enjoy the work environment and thrive off the collaboration with other members.”
Salon Lane Teneriffe, West End, Surry Hills and Lower North Shore still have private studios and workstations available for daily or monthly lease.
