2026 ABIA WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT GALA CEREMONY.

Sunday 16th August saw Australia and New Zealand’s most outstanding beauty professionals celebrated with winners of the 15th annual 2026 ANZ Beauty Industry Awards (ABIAs) announced at a spectacular gala evening at the ICC Sydney. For many years, the skin barrier has been explained using the familiar “brick and mortar” model, with skin cells as the bricks and intercellular lipids as the mortar. Closing the Menopause Gap in Skincare.

From Classroom to Clinic – 25 Years of the ASDC.

In 2001, Frank Perri, a psychologist and statistician, then in his twenties, was handed a unit called Graduating Seminar in a brand-new Victoria University (VU) course, teaching the country’s first cohort of what would become dermal clinicians. There was no textbook or profession to point at. There was also a warning. The coordinator told him this class of experienced beauty therapists had made previous teachers cry. “I had long hair back then.
