The HOB Creative Team have retained the title for Artistic Team of the Year at the star-studded British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
The team took home the title with their stunning Silhouette collection. This is the fifth time the team has won the coveted title, thanks to the precision and intricate beauty of their images.
HOB is no stranger to winning awards with International Creative Director Akin Konizi being named four-times British Hairdresser of the Year, with accolades including London Hairdresser of the Year and British Colour Technician of the Year.
The British Hairdressing Awards was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane this week, and the team won the coveted trophy in front of a 1,500 strong audience of peers, influencers and press from the world of hairdressing. The evening was hosted by TV and radio presenter Rylan Clark, who was joined on stage by the team from organisers Hairdressers Journal International and sponsors Schwarzkopf Professional.
Taking to the stage to collect the accolade, International Artistic Director Akin said: “We won this award last year which was a huge honour, but to win it again this year is amazing. I really believe in this team and we have pulled together to create this collection and I am very proud of them all.”

Silhouette Collection
Silhouette boldly explores the relationship between precision and form.
